GARDEN DOCTOR

Is your garden not feeling well? Do you need some advice or suggestions? We charge $25 for a site visit to your established garden and consult with you about plants, irrigation and ideas, then we give you a prescription. Call 761-9538 to schedule your doctor’s visit.

FULL GARDEN PLANNING Consultation

Have you always wanted a garden? Want to put in a retro Victory Garden? We offer garden consulting which includes site visit, site plan, a garden report of what and where vegetables and flowers should be planted in your space, a soil test and a recommended soil amendment plan. $50 + soil test charge.

GARDEN INSTALLATION

With the garden consultation the next step is installing your garden. We can do that for you. This may include removal of your lawn, spreading of amendments such as compost or organic fertilizers, rototilling, planting and setting up your watering system. We offer a free estimate with a garden consultation. This also includes a monthly visit during the first growing season to check up on your garden and offer suggestions including pest and weed management and crop rotations.

GARDEN MAINTENANCE

Do you have an established garden? Or you don’t have enough time to maintain the one we just installed? We offer weekly garden maintenance including weed and pest management using organic methods, a weekly harvest basket of vegetables and reseeding and replanting areas that have been harvested so you have a continuous stream of fresh produce throughout the growing season. Starting at just $25 per week per 500 square feet of garden.

Urbane Farms Coop Program

Do you have a space that produces more vegetables than you can use? We offer discounts on garden installation and maintenance if you share the harvest with Urbane Farms. We then sell these vegetables to local restaurants and farmer’s markets.  (Mostly full for 2009, but drop us a line with what you’ve got and we’ll see.)

Other Services
